We’ve been thinking for some time now that given the ease of use of our software, it could be incredibly beneficial to indigenous peoples to take it and provide technology-based employment for their youth, and as a result of this enable more affordable online marketing services for the small business owners within their networks.
The benefit to us is that we increase our hosting and software development revenues. Admittedly we give away all the design and customer service income, but this vision is certainly a way of getting the products out there more widely and therefore better evolved as we listen to and implement ideas from the people actually using it.
We have been in discussions with some leaders from Maoridom in New Zealand, and are excited to announce the ‘Te Hononga’ intiative as our first step in exploring this vision.
